LS D585 Ignition Coil Bracket Kit (Pre-Order)
#101
We're going to do another pre-order for the wires just like we did with the brackets. And the best part.... pre-order pricing discount!
Standard Pricing
90-00 (Non-VVT) - $65 shipped
01-05 (VVT) - $70 shipped
$5 off either set when you use the pre-order on our website.
https://squareup.com/store/hawleyper...oil-plug-wires
Lead time will be a few weeks, especially as we are coming up on the holidays. I'll keep everyone apprised as we move forward.
I will plan to order the first batch of wires on Monday Nov 21.

As much as I'd like to say we will have a PnP harness available soon, it's probably not the cards at this time. As always I definitely appreciate the suggestions. They certainly don't go unheard.
It's on the list of things to pursue, but if I'm going to release it I want it to be rock solid for all the platforms. It's just not there currently, and I don't have quite enough time to devote to getting it to that point at this time.
Thanks for all the order so far!

Update: I've been dealing with a very sick furry family member at home that ended Monday afternoon with having to put her down. I'm sorry but this has shifted the shipping schedule back a bit. I'm hoping to get as many orders ready for shipment this evening as I can. I will make sure everyone gets an email update as soon as that happens with tracking information like always.
Again, I apologize for the delay.

Here's a little detail on the harness pinout. I basically just re wrapped the one pictured above mostly for fun. I labeled the connectors with colored tape for reference.
The male connector that mates to the GM harness pigtail is available from Ballenger:
Home » Shop » Connectors / Harnesses » Delphi / Packard » Pigtails » GM Delphi / Packard - 8 way (1 blocked) metripack 150 sealed male assembly for main coil bank connector Pigtail, gray
Of course, the coil connectors pin out as:

B=signal ground
C=ignition signal
D=+12v

I can't seem to get the spark plug boots to seat all the way down. I'm guessing the "hat brims" should seat flush with the valve cover? Has anyone had to trim the lip off the tip of the boot to get them to seat all the way?
This is as far as I could mash it down.
I'm wondering if I should shave off the extra rib thing on the tip of the shank. Just the tip. That's what she said.
