Well, nothing seems any different besides the BOV sound. It's almost like phaser fire "Pshhowww" not sure why.
I will say that the crank case fumes are almost completely gone. Really only a tiny bit when the BOV opens, maybe if I recirculate, I could get that too.
I am thinking about heating my BOV spring in a vise as Deezums suggested somewhere, maybe it was Aidandj. We if I can get more adjustment out of it.

Still testing very well. I am convinced that I have some compressor stall/surge but the car is performing flawlessly otherwise. It must have been there all along but I think I can hear it better now.
Does this mean I don't have to sit at the table with the 1.6 guys?

I hooked this up hoping to gain trap speed in the 1/4 mile.
My log seems to suggest that it actually hurts my IAT while going down the 1/4. It helps cool down between runs, but the water must interfere with the cold airflow somehow at speed. My IAT'S increased 10* when I misted in 3rd and 4th gear over not misting, my intercooler sucks.

I typically pick up 45-55*F on a high 12 second pass but today I was picking up 60* while spraying. Disabled it and it is closer to a 50* increase again.
I can easily fit a larger core, or a better one.

Yeah, I wonder if I had a finer mist or perhaps a few pulses of mist rather than steady mist.
I do think that the water is loading up the little turbulators.
I will probably play with it a bit more since it's free to play around with while I save for tires.

So I only have 3 logs of me squirting pretty hard 3rd and 4th.
I have tons of dry logs showing an average increase of 50*F per 1/4 mile pull, regardless of ambient temperature.
I will do some comparisons between logs. IIRC the IAT log was rather unusual when squirting. It is usually an even climb in temperature, but squirting causes variation in the rate of increase. However ultimately leading to a bigger increase for each of the 3 squirting passes.
I will devise a new strategy and waste a few passes on this next week, if it actually doesn't rain on Wednesday. I might order a couple of real mister fittings from mc master too.

The misting device is on hold for the moment but I did manage to get my air filter out from behind the radiator.
Not exactly thrilled with the configuration. First off the throttle is a bit close to the air filter for my comfort Additionally everything is basically packed like a can of sardines in here now and I still want to recirculate my BOV.
Of course there is slicks, ms3, motor, ect... And the list goes on and on.
Last regular drag race of the season tomorrow, not sure if this will help or harm but at least I will get some good data.

I am kind of glad you guys didn't get to meet my wife yet. Otherwise she would be saying "why don't you do what Aidan said? You can stop by my work and pick up methanol and dry ice for your IC tank."
Maybe next year
