IIRC the prices are ~$35-40K, depending on displacement / HP.
Kidding aside, I'd love a high revving small displacement V8, but they are all oh-so expensive.
Destroked ls3, 4.8l crank, stock bore and run it to 8000. I'd do it, but no money, and especially no money for a dry sump set up to properly deal with the extra revs on track. Sigh, one day.
On second thought it's not that small of displacement, but whatever, still bad ***.
