My Almost Complete 1.8 Turbo Kit
#68
FM Happy Meal and, ID1000 injectors being ordered tomorrow, I am starting to question why I went T3 but its a bit to late for that, (just hoping to spool up around 4,500rpm worst case scenario)
Going T25 would have saved me plenty of money, however I really wanted that kick and was willing to risk early spool for that.
As for the manifold and downpipe they came in, very happy with them they look sweet ill try and post pictures this weekend, also got my oil feed and return line
Remaining Parts List: Fuel Pump, Ms3/Flex Fuel Sensor, Boost Gauges, Fuel/Oil Pressure Gauges, some maintenance items as well.
Plan is start saving for a motorcycle after the clutch and injectors are ordered so that I can start the install as soon as I get the 2nd mode of transportation.
Once its all ready to go I am ordering the ms3 from a nearby Megasquirt/Miata Tuner hooking up the gauges/ecu/flex fuel sensor and limping my way to his dyno on the base map he provides to get it tuned.
I'd like to have it all done by the end of the semester that starts at the end of this month but we will see how progress goes when install starts. The closer you get the more exciting it gets

Possibly a full race approach. This is a MS3 turbo manifold and only has a single cut down the middle.

Quick Update: Miata is now in the garage ready for the turbo install, SV650 acquired as the new daily until the miata is back on the road. Will start posting more pictures as the install starts and progresses, last thing I'm waiting on is for my brother to drop off my tools so I can start and also to get the last few turbo parts that I am missing. ~

I sold my sv650 to buy the miata. Fun bike. Solid choice for a daily.
Which year?

I also have an 05 SV650, great bike, owned it for over 5 years now, and probably will own forever.
put an 06 gsxr front end on it (forks/brakes/wheel), and a zx10r rear shock, the bike is now perfect. comfortable, good mid range torque and handles like a sport bike.
