Air Bags
Hello I'm new to all of this and I recently just bought a 1991 Miata and I want to put it on bags but I as wondering what all I would need besides the air ride setup like would I need sway bars, camber kits, etc. Also maybe mention some good brands or your favorite brands to look at. Thanks in advanced

I used these: Truck Camper Suspension - truck sway - truck sag - reduce camper roll | StableLoad instead of airbags on my dually for carrying a camper. I didn't want to deal with air lines and possible leaks.

This is the truck in question 1989 Jeep Comanche. It has a spring under axle conversion which makes the overload springs a bit harder to deal with and also makes more room to install air bags. The springs are really pretty soft (given I used to wheel in it) and it is still pretty bouncy on the road.
I'm thinking air bags would be better (but really going back to spring over axle and shorter coils in the front would likely be the best).

I have Firestone air bags in my 4Runner since they're also sprung pretty damn soft. They cost $100, took 45 minutes to install, and work pretty damn well. Hardest part was routing the hose cleanly while keeping it far from the exhaust.
This may not apply to bags for leaf springs, but the fittings on the Firestone/Ride-Rite bags for coil springs are much nicer than the fittings on the corresponding Air Lift bags.

Both of our work tow rigs, 3/4 ton dodges, had bags installed shortly after purchase. One got the super fancy kit with the pump, the other got a valve installed in the rear bumper. Both work great, I won't have another work rig without them. I installed one of the ride right kits for my SIL when she added an electric wheel chair carrier to the hitch on her van. They at least kept them from riding on the bump stops.
