Miata cooling system thread

My wa ic is a rare deal made to accommodate ps, ac and have low pressure drop air air volume and keep the car from overheating in traffic with the ac on or on track.
This setup achieved all the goals i had for it, but i doubt that anyone other than me would be interested in such a setup because of its complexity and heavier weight than an aa setup

I made a quick video yesterday where I compared the performance of a 10" Zirgo radiator fan, which appears to use the same motor and blades as many of the cheap ~$20 options, to an identically sized Spal fan. This information could be useful if your car isn't cooling as well as you'd like in traffic or after you come off track.
CN's: The Spal fan generated 33% more of a pressure differential across the core than the Zirgo fan. .28 in H2O vs. .2 in H2O.

Whatever radiator I get, I think I would a single 13" SPAL fan to go with it, unless 2 fans are better. I have the 25 row Setrab kit from TSE, it's massive, couldn't find a great place to put it. The cooler blocks about half the radiator atm (passenger side), that's the side I was going to put the fan on. Without the cooler oil temps would hit 260 on a 90-95 degree days during a 30 min track day session. The cooler keeps them below 240 F now. Water temps rise without the cooler blocking the rad and with the cooler blocking, so I guess I'll leave it where it is for now. The CX racing radiator has been great for street driving, and when the car was NA at the track, was hoping the cheaper SuperMiata was enough radiator to solve my problems. I ordered the Singular Motorsports vents, laid them out on the hood and felt they didn't look particularly great on my NA. I think those vents look better on the NB personally. On the NA with the vents being so close to, and between, the flip ups it looks like there's a bit too much going on in that space. It's a silly gripe because I know those vents will help a lot, wish there was a "nicer" looking option without having to buy a vented hood. Need to sack up and spend the $600 on TSE rad I guess and go from there. Not the news I wanted to hear lol.

Fans are for the street and the paddock, above 35-40 mph and they're actually blocking more airflow than they're adding. You'll be fine with one fan, probably even if it's a stock fan. I have a single SPAL on mine, but that's only because I had one laying around.
I hear you on the vents. There aren't any on mine because it's a dual-purpose street/track car and I don't want to scream "race car" to other people on the road any more than absolutely necessary.
Ideally the oil cooler belongs behind the rad because the oil runs at a higher temperature than the coolant does.
