My impression of the auto is its amazing alot smoother and more driveable than expected actually easier to drive than the manual other than it wanting to blow the tyres off
the auto place is in melbourne australia they specilize in jatco's because they are in a large 6 cyl turbo car here in oz
the issues we hit
Happy to speak to the guys here if you need help i see you have a 99 aisin box which i got warned away from to hard to control as its all electronic and no available upgraded aftermarket parts
other than that all good hardest parts finding the jatco frame rail and flex plate

the issues we hit
- converters very small had to machine up a custom balloon plate section
- rear seal inside miata extension housing only just fits
- input shaft depth with converter
- drop box for shifter very tight
- tailshaft modified to suit larger auto output shaft
- billet input and output shaft
- fully manualised valve body
- stronger bands and higher line pressures
- retained over drive
- waiting on a higher volume cast pan
- b&m compatable shifter brackets
