Exocet turbo build Houston, TX
I've been reading through threads here for the last few months, figured it was time to join up. Been a part of many forums, glad to add another to the list.
Anyway, building an Exocet from a 1996 donor and hope to have the frame sometime around March or April. Plan is EFR6258 with a manifold and DP from Abe, sent him the $$$ a few weeks ago. I'll spare most of the details for if/when I start a build thread.
No stranger to turbos, I finished this Goldwing early last year. Converted to fuel injection with microsquirt, k03 turbo, etc.
Despite all of my reading I'm sure I'll present some flameworthy posts, but I'll do my best not to

8psi by about 3800rpm, 9.2:1 stock compression, DIY ARP head studs and copper head gaskets, shimmed clutch springs. 93 octane and full timing 33.5* by 3000rpm. no signs of detonation, about 1500miles on the turbo. I do run it a little rich in boost though, no dyno work yet.

So I last updated this thread with a vague exocet teaser...
It's been a few months and have since had Abe at artech make TWO different manifold and DP setups. the first presumably would have fit a 1996 miata but the exocet frame dimensions are a bit different, so a second was in order.
Fast forward a few months and we're caught up...
So this is where we stand.
So i started this thread to build enough posts to sell the artech setup that didn't fit the exocet...
Now that that issue has been solved I figured it would be time for an update....I've learned SO much from just searching, figured it'd be time to give back.
Step one: artech custom log and downpipe
A lot of work on the car, however here's the turbo stuff

I loved the Acewell gauge on my old GS500.
Dude, that bike looks like tons of fun and I can't get over how well it sounds, and turbo noise from a bike. I'd probably die though. GSXR front forks?
I miss my slow *** bike
GS500, gsxr750 forks, hayabusa brakes, katana rear wheel, works performance racing shock.
