High AFR on basemap MSPNP MM9093
#21
The fuel table is ok tuned. So is cold-start, idle etc.
I'm still having the problem with lean hot starts! Yesterday I removed the crossover tube and started test fitting IC piping. I had the hood open and the crossover tube removed from the engine bay for two hours. The IAT is located in the crossover tube (plastic). I reconnected it and started the car. I went from 13.5 AFR on my cold start to 18 AFR. And it stays there until I start driving.
This is quite annoying. I think I added the MAT correction last yeast. Doesn't seem to make any difference (https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...-starts-79109/).
I've read that this is because of heated injectors. But two hours and open hood should cool them down? The drive before I stopped was just 10 minutes.
Any ideas?
Here is a log I started after I drove 20 seconds to get the AFR to stabilize. I'll log a hot start next time.

looks like you need to bump it up a bit more.
watch your Gair and Gammae. Gair is air based corrections, and gammae is total.
you want to make that curve net you 100% Gair across all temps. Then after you've perfect tuned your fuel map, you'll adjust that curve to keep the AFRs in check in extreme temps.

I added 10% at 71C and 93C
I went for a long drive and these are logs from me stopping at the shop. Gone about 10 mins. The later one is from me stopping to fill gas. max 5 minutes. Same problem. GAIR is about 93 and AFR 18 -19. CLT: 79C (159.8F) MAT: 37C (98.6F) .
