From an email with Stoptech:
"The ST42 caliper half forgings are the basis for the ST42 and STR42. They are both made from the same forging. The ST42 machines off some of the forged surfaces to achieve the finished caliper profile. The STR42 machines ALL surfaces and optimizes cuts to reduce weight on a 38/38 piston caliper. It’s about a half pound lighter than the ST42 and it is offered ONLY in an anodized finish (no caliper colors)."

Any long term feedback for these brakes? Thanks. Eyeballing the rear kit for the Exocet.

My 3" Singular brake ducts are another thing. Necessitated swapping the ABS sensors and retainers left to right. Also trimming as duct shield and rotor take up same space. PF11 pads took quite a bit of messaging flash off edge of backing plate to fit.
Bit of brake ****. STR w SS piston nose and Performance Friction 11 pads and rings.

Just did the same. My 10" Dekagram fit with plenty of room. Tried my 9" 6ULs and not even close to fitting, 10mm spacers on order.

Looking for some advice from those of you that have experience with brake kits. I race an f production miata in the scca, they are in the process of approving alternate brakes for the class. We are limited to 15x7 wheels, I run enkei rpf1 wheels. 35 off set and spacers. Has anyone had anyone experience with fitting any of the big brake kits under these wheels? Any advice or experience is appreciated.

In case somebody stumbles upon this thread and wants to know before purchasing. I test fit two different wheels, though they're already known to fit 11.75"
Konig Freeform 15x9.5 +29. The spokes have tons of clearance. Barrell to caliper clearance pictured the best I could.
Advanti Racing S1 15x9 +35
