The pros complained that the tires and brakes on the Evo were toast by the time they got to drive. So to prove it results were based on driver skill Emilio Cervantes took the Evo out for two more laps. Minor issues but it was still fast. Felt like the left front damper was going away. Irregular pulsating from brakes that felt and looked like pad deposition. Still, the car was super fast and stopped amazingly well. You just had to ignore the pedal feel and twitchiness under braking.
