Default Shift light MS3 options

I would like to purchase the Ecliptech shift light. Since I have an MS3 Pnp Pro, what's the recommendation for the rpm signal or cleaner wiring option?

You should be able to get the power and tach signal from the back of the gauge cluster (unless you aren't using the stock cluster). We mounted our DIY solution atop the cluster hood, with the cable coming in under the light.

i have the stock cluster but have noticed some issues with my Tach jumping around 3-4k, but it's steady in MS3. In any case, you taped into the cluster wiring it appears and velcro on top of cluster hood?

We didn't notice any fluctuation while accelerating, but we did have to apply a 200 rpm offset to make the car and shift light agree. I assume there's a bad ground to cause the fluctuation I see while cruising, in which case the shift light is off. We were lazy and did velcro with the wires tucked under the hood.
