Road America in 1 week (year anniversary of my roll)
Well guys i have a week till I'm headed to Road America since i rolled the car last year. I've been through hell rebuilding the car this whole last winter/spring to what it is now and cannot wait to give turn 12 the finger!
Still need to make up some front tire spats, finish up my new seat, and get my new tune which is all going down this weekend.
Hoping to turn a low 2:30 this year.
Some pics from Autobahn
Will update this thread so stay tuned!

How'd you roll in Canada Corner? Completely miss the braking and then try to still make the corner?
Low 2:30s is pretty quick. The fastest SCCA T3 cars run 33s and 34s. I would think a turbo miata with aero and big tires should be able to easily beat T3 times.
What kind of tires are you running? What suspension set up? Your last picture makes it look like you have quite a bit of roll.

Yes sir, same car that rolled. Came into turn 12 and my left front dipped into the grass and i spun and did a light roll.
The shocks i have now are garbage, they are what is slowing me down from going faster. I plan on developing a EP style tubular suspension this winter with better shocks.
The car ran a 2:38 last year with less aero, less brakes, less tire, and less power. I feel it has a easy 2:35 this year and hopefully with the new suspension a 2:30. Keep in mind the car is still a street car!!

looks more race car than street car
Did you drop tire into grass on the outside before turning in? Is there curbing out there?
I'm not a huge fan of canada corner, mostly because the car I race has $hitty brakes so I have zero chance of ever passing someone there under braking. Heck, I'm lucky to make the corner half way through a race, even braking before the 4/5 marker.

DOUBLE POST
Just checked some video from the runoffs, no curbing on the outside around turn-in point. I could see it being pretty easy to drop a tire there. I guess I've always left a little bit of room there on the outside because of that.
Anyway, ramble ramble ramble. You car looks pretty cool and good luck, keep it on the pavement!
