Race trailer spares and misc stuff you lug to the track
What kind of spares do you guys keep in your trailers? Just curious. Trying to draw the line between "I can fix this here" and "I need to bring this home to the shop" in determining what to keep on hand.
Besides tools, I usually keep a set of rotor rings/pads, hub nuts, ring hardware, one spare hub, some control arms, alignment bolts, lug nuts, lug studs, CV boots+boot strap tool, and a set of plugs in the trailer.
What's the craziest race day repair you've had to make?

I carry every suspension arm, bolts, front and rear uprights, hubs, calipers, main radiator fan, brake pads....... I am certain there is more
*edit* - spare trans, sometimes more than one...... diff housing, more than one if I have it available.
been racing with SCCA in spec miata for 3 yrs.

I just keep slightly more than the basics:
I don't race SM, so car-car contact is pretty rare. My car is ready to go before I load up the trailer, so it's just a matter of showing up, unpacking, and cracking open a beer. I can't stress this enough, especially with the Miata/SE30/HC/Spec944 groups! There is someone thrashing Friday night to get her ready for Saturday qualifying every. single, event.
Also make a checklist and use the checklist. I have an excel list I print out and check off before/as I'm loading up. If you find you need something that's not on the list, put a note on your phone, and add it to the list when you get home. Make it as thorough as necessary; I've screwed myself checking the box for sleeping bag but failing to consider whether it was the 40F or 0F bag...

- Rotors
- Calipers

Rear uprights with bearings already installed.
Lower front ball joints
Rear A-arm long bolt
Cam & Crank sensors, Main relay (Green on '99)
Clutch slave & brake bleed bottle
Brake pads & rotors
Worst repair, after contact with a wall, cutting a bent rear A-arm long bolt between the a-arm and the upright by hand. There wasn't enough space for power tools.
