Race exhaust options

I've got a 2000 NB 1.8 track only car I'm building similar to a Supermiata S2 (140 rwhp target, normally aspirated). I've got the JDM manifold on it now and will likely be buying a Racing Beat header (heard the cheaper headers fall apart). Are there are any decent off the shelf race exhaust options? Quieter is better but looking for best performance. I will probably have to swap systems or add another muffler for Laguna (92db) unless there is something good and quiet. I'm not opposed to doing something custom if needed but I'm not looking for a science project. I've searched a bit and found the following options:
Open pipe - tried that on another 4cyl racecar, crazy loud and sounded horrible, no thanks!
Springfield Dyno - supposed to be loud as hell, reasonable price, maybe undersized since it's for spec?
MBS - looks good, reasonable price, was considering strongly then I saw a thread on here where the muffler blew up
Borla - I think it's discontinued, all the info is old, maybe undersized too?
Racing Beat - looks more like street stuff, big (heavy?) muffler, has some bends, expensive for full kit
Fujitsubo (at Supermiata) - looks nice, relatively expensive, has bends, 92 db so okay for Laguna
Others?
Maybe I should get the Racing Beat header, resonated midpipe, and just make a straight pipe for the end? Or just have the muffler shop do something similar with a race muffler. Then I could bolt a muffler on for tracks with sound regs.
Any good options I've missed or lessons learned?

I know you're asking about off the shelf, but to add a data point:
When I did my VVT swap, I fabricated a system with RB header, 2 1/2 high flow cat, Vibrant resonator and Dynomax turbo muffler. It's probably a bit heavier than an OTS cat back, but cheaper. I was terrified it was going to sound all Honda fartcan, but it's quiet and sounds decent. Even passed 92dB at Laguna Seca.
With V band fittings at the axle section, it's also easy to disassemble for working on the car.
