estimated track mpg for a 1.8 @ 11psi?

If you are building a dedicated track car and have access to E85, then it will make things a lot easier and cheaper on you. Make sure you factor in the 30% extra fuel usage, but that is the only real downside to it. A heck of a lot cheaper than running race fuel and you can really get the most out of your timing maps like you are running race fuel.

That's only if you are making big power and running E85. Savington has said before he makes about 25 minutes, IIRC, out of his tank, but he is making 325+whp on E85. Our cars when turbo would normally last around 60 minutes and we where making between 225-270whp on 93. You should be more than fine to run a 30 minute session with E85.

cool some good info here. some of the events I've run in the past have 60 minute races and i would like to be able to do those events. these events are staggered start time trial road race. super fun but i dont even really know if the events are still being done. it was called SATCAR, super fun way to race without worrying about fighting for position.

Not updated for a fe ways but fuelly says 8mpg at 192rwhp. Will see when meth goes on.

I'm seeing about 7-8mpg at 239whp@14psi on 91 octane.
I suppose for cross reference, my old Evo was getting 7-8 mpg on 91 octane, around 300whp@20psi. When I switched to E85 on the stock turbo, 28psi tapering to 23psi, 400whp/389ft-lbs, I was seeing 3-4mpg. I was putting a 5 gallon jug into it every 20 min session.

Hopefully that's changed, but it had tremendously negative reviews when I was there.

You could always guestimate your track MPG based on injector size and avg duty cycle..
For example I have 550cc/min injectors... thats 0.145294629 gallons / minute.. so 10 gallons at 100% duty would be 68 minutes.
I know full throttle 4th gear im about 80% duty (225 rwhp) ...so call it 65% average around a decently quick track. Thats about 105 minutes. I'd say thats a little off, but close. I would probably just say 68 minutes.
