I think I see 'beach marks' or fatigue crack looking marks on image DSC_6768, right in the center, in the lower part of the failure area. Same thing on DSC-6762, lower portion, slightly to the right. Hard to say for sure, both pieces are pretty beat up as one would expect.

Not much to see, but here's a video of a friend in his 911 a few seconds behind me. The v8r people are out until Monday so I have to wait until then to get new hubs.

Here are some pics of the other rear hub that was on the car. It's definitely on its way to destruction. A thin crack is winding around the base at the same point of failure as the other one. The new v8r hubs are noticeably beefier in the problem area and other spots.
