Unfortunately, our system shows an estimated release date of late 2018. This is not set in stone as they have it marked as "estimate" it may change.

Yeah me too, but I'll probably end up on the 225 Rival S unless that RS4 in 245 both comes out soon and is tested before I spend monies. My first event is in April and I need to be set up by then.

 

FWIW, unofficial word from a Tire Rack rep is they expect to see them sometime in Q1 2017, not 2018.

 

I wonder if Hankook will follow with a Z214 245/40/15? Glad to see that size has caught on.

 

I hope this is what will actually happen.

 

Some sizes in Q1. So maybe, maybe not. Rs4s are supposed to be in mid march.

 

Looks like every size in the RS3 on TireRack is on closeout, so the Q1 RS4 rollout seems about right.

 

Appears the 225's are sold out..... At least they aren't listed.

I ended up snagging a set of 225 Rival S because my series starts pregaming this Sunday and I could not wait for the 245 to come out...needed to buy something and start dialing it in. Will definitely be keeping an eye on the testing of this and the 245/40 RS4 to see what the impressions are. Most likely won't jump ship to anything wider this year unless the RS4 are unicorn tears and kill everything else in their path. I'll get farther with driver mods than wider tires.
