One example of a blown motor on a 6258 at 10psi does not mean that stock engines aren't safe when fed by a 6258. Our kits will make power/boost levels that are appropriate for long-term use with a stock engine - we expect that to be between 8 and 11psi depending on the base compression and supporting mods.

All EFRs from Full-Race now have ceramic coated housings. Are you doing anything similar? I'm thinking of coating my setup. |

So it's the 6758 a better pick for 18-20+psi or is the 6258 better with the faster spool?

They both can run 18-20+ psi just fine. What power numbers are you looking for? PSI is just a measure of restriction, it tells you nothing about performance.

I've never understood why a shop would coat the flange faces, and coating the wastegate flapper arm is just kludgy. It's investment-cast stainless steel (or at least it will be again at some point soon) - I see absolutely no reason to incur the additional cost. I think FR uses ceramic paint, at least thats what it looks like. It doesnt look like a true ceramic, its not thick enough and they only rate it to 2000*F.

which as I've seen in earlier post that the smaller well also run 20psi easy and good for 325hp. So I want sure if I should just go for the next bigger and sacrifice some spool time. which shouldn't be much with the amazing EFR's correct? |

They were nice enough to send me some Tshirts and hats for my troubles. Suppler problems aren't fun. |
