strange symptoms diagnosis please!
I have yet another problem.
cold start in the morning is fine. No longer have idle dip as I cleaned the throttle boddy out.
Now sometimes I put my foot down crusinf along and there is hesitation and then whooshhh turrrrbbbbooooo comes on.
Is there some fuel starvation somewhere?
Its not clutch slip nor can it be leads as it is not missing.
what shoudl i check?

lol...funny you should say that.
I have been doing some searches and they point to the same cause.
What I really need to do is to diagnose the problem by checking what error codes if any the dignostic box throws.
then replace.
Plugs are the colder long reach NGK's that have been on since january this year so about 11 months.
wiress are magnecor blues been on since decmeber 2004.
think its time for a change.

I'd go NGK wires and plugs...
If it is going to pop up with a code, more than likely it will be P0300 - random cylinder misfire. Sometimes, not usually, it will point to a specific cylinder wire. For example P0302 - Plug/wire #2.
I think Autozone and auto parts stores read the OBD codes for free?

UPDATE:
changed the old leads with new ones at my local mazda specialist.
Its still missing.
The checked the coil pack and they said that 2 of the coil pack contacts are corroded and as a result this is causing the missing not the new leads or old leads. As a result they said the coil pack will need replacing !!!
I am so pissed now.
Is there a way to clean the contacts on the coil pack?
