I'm pretty sure that all of the cast-iron BEGI 1.8 manifolds have a casting feature on the side to accommodate the optional EGR port. A 1.6 manifold will not have this.

That wastegate placement is tricky (mine is the same way) and making your own downpipe for it would be a nightmare. I'd call and see if Begi still makes downpipes for that manifold and you could get the piece of mind knowing what you're getting into in full detail.

You know I would wait and call them. Get the low down on what they still offer for that manifold, like downpipes, etc....
