I need a CARB sticker
Some of you may remember my postings a few weeks ago whereby I had purchased a new Greddy kit, but was missing some parts. Over the past week Raven Wing has made good on everything except for the documentation and the CARB sticker.
The docs I don't mind, I have the copies from the archive here. But for whatever reason everybody seems to be dragging their feet on the matter of the CARB sticker. I have printouts of the E.O. paperwork, but I'm really paranoid about proceeding without that sticker. So I thought I'd turn to y'all and see if anyone can help me.
Does anybody who lives outside of California happen to still have the CARB sticker that came with your kit, which you would be willing to part with?

Good luck - I have already asked here but no ones giving them up - so if they do I want first dibs
You really just need to keep on at the supplier and as I think I told you before you can just call Greddy in Irvine as they told me they would only give me a sticker with an original reciept - Which I guess you have...
If you get a sticker ask for a spare for me.

If you keep the CARB EO documentation you're usually pretty good to go. I have a friend with an FM II kit, he got hit by the California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles County region where CHP is typically very ---- (to be nice).
Anyways, he didn't have an EO sticker, he did have the documentation. The CHP said,"Cool, slow down."

Its not the cops you have to worry about - its the SMOG. When they pop the hood they look at the engine bay like it has a bomb in it thats about to explode. The 3 places that looked at mine did not even touch the car and one even said the timing will be wrong!
I do have a freind that has a new greddy but he was only shipped one sticker. and its on his car now.

Most people from CA that have posted here recently are having the same issues. So to anyone buying a new kit (in CA) make sure you have your complete paperwork.

worst case is that to take off ur turbo get it passed smog and put it back in ...
i went to a state referee yesterday, i showed him the paperwork then he went checking my car. after a while hes trying to put my car on the rack i thought its cool that i passed the visual inspection but then my car was too low that it didnt fit on the rack DAMN i had to reschedule for another appointment at other station!!!
Moreover the inspector suggested me its better to get a installation manual along w/ the EO# paperwork for the next inspector, so that they could see the diagram of the parts.
