How rich am I?
i was bored after work today since my lifting buddy cancelled on me so i decided to install my walbro 190hp fuel pump, everything pretty much went straight forward thanks to the writeups on this board, thanks. Now i didn't swap in my begi afpr yet and still have my vortec 12:1 and my 305cc injectors. Stupid rich in boost Some interesting things, have about 4 more psi at idle than before, starts faster, maybe my old pump was dying.
Second i decided to recheck my timing since i just got my own gun, 18 degrees! and my emanage has been adding 8 in the low revs, always ran great no pinging, nothing alarming. To be safe i just set it back down to 6 where i thought it was from the get go(tech friend did my timing about when i put the greddy on) Now either i'm very lucky or my balancer is slipping
When i get my afpr in, how much fuel pressure should i run at 10psi, 15psi?

General rule of thumb is a 6PSI increase in fuel pressure for every 1PSI boost. so take a fuel pressure reading with the engine idling, and the vacuum hose pulled off your stock FPR. at 10PSI, add 60PSI of fuel pressure to that reading. at 15PSI, add 90PSI to that reading.
Keep in mind that anything over 100-120PSI of fuel pressure runs a risk of injector lock which is a BAD thing.

bruce i'll try to get you that map tonight
at a 4:1 ratio....15x4=60 + 50 psi of base pressure is 110psi. do you really think i need that much? i thought tom was only running around 100psi on his 1.8(265cc?) inectors

yeah you could probably go a bit less, but it will get you in the ballpark, you dont need much, and since Tom was hitting about 290BHP you could probably get away with a bit less, but you'll wanna be in that ballpark, that's where the datalog come in handy.
