I just got my greddy kit, and looking through the manifold... lots of casting imperfections. I've ported before, but on aluminum. To prevent rust should I spray some WD-40 on this when I'm done?
I don't know if anyone can see it but there's a HUGE ridge in there (#1 cyl.)
Plus, there are a lot of tight bends around the inlet to the turbo, is there any harm in smoothing those out some or am I better off to just leave them be?

Read pop's site, smoothed out the 90* bends, knocked out the casting flash, etc. Got the kit on, fairly uneventful install thanks to the guidance from here and greddyturbofaqs!
The stock crossover keeps blowing off at the TB, is there anything I can do other than just keep tightening the clamp?
I got a small oil leak, seemed like from the banjo bolt on top of the turbo, re-tightened the fittings and it seems to be good now.
Now just waiting on all the other stuff I have coming
