Default burning oil bad

ok heres my question. what could it be? my car was running perfect up untill the other day i did an oil change. the oil change was over do by a month. after the oil change now my car is burning oil extremely as soon as i start her up.what the hell could it be? could the oil change have lossened something that was helping seal the turbo bearings? i checked my breather hose its not coming from there. in the morning im gunna check if its from pcv valve. but i have a feeling its the turbo. what would have caused this? is there a special trick to changing your oil once you are turbo?

No, changing the oil is the exact same as being turbo-less.
I'd say your going to have to do more checks around the engine etc.
How's it reving ? Any funny smells around the engine ?
Is the smoke only from the exhaust or no smoke at all ?
You use the correct oil filter (one with a built in valve) ?
Did you replace the oil pan washer with a new one ?
Loads of Qs can be asked but yer gonna have to check around the engine.

check your oil drain. Make sure it's not blocked or trying to flow uphill.

white, black or blue smoke at idle? how much?

see it burning off in the engine bay? or only out the exhaust?

what weight did you go from? 5w-30 to 15w-50?

pull your intake and check the freeplay....any oil buildup in the compressor inlet? pull the outlet...any oil there?

pull you cat....any oil in the exhaust?

i went from 20w40 to 20w40 castrol syntec blend. i did notice that my oil pressure is reading alot higher now .there is smoke coming from both the engine bay and out the exhaust. once warmed up most from around the turbo. i just rebuilt it 4 months ago. when i did i noticed the shaft had a groove in it could it be that it just has loostened up enough to be burning up the oil at the high oil pressure? were can i get the stuff to do the oil line straight to my oil pan? what exactly do i need?

All you need is a new outlet flange, (2) 1/2" to 5/8" slip-on fittings, and about 2' of 5/8" silicone...going to cost around $50 new from ATP through WOT.

dont understand the groove...care to draw a quick pic so my right-brain can take a shot at it?

too much pressure at idle can surely do it...stock GReddy feed line? Breather line in the intake?

ok on the shaft were the bearing sits. there is a groove in the shaft. um yes stock greddy feed line as far as i know i bought it used. and yes breather line in intake. i took the breather line out and it still burnt. so my assumption is either not letting the oil out fast enough or something in the turbo. so if you could explain a little better what it is i need or a link to were to get it. for the oil return line to the oil pan. id like to do the braided line though

I'd try to simple things first...maybe all it needs is a new drain line....unhook it blow into it, see if it's full of gunk or something....could really be as simple as bad drainage, but something is cauing oil to backup into the seals and burning off.

well ive been planning on doing the reroute of the oil drain line. instead of the way greddy has it set up stock.
