BEGi S1 first startup experience.
So, i got my s1 and 460cc injectors all installed and started the car up for the first time. It pretty much started right up after priming the oil pump. I didnt drive it because im having wideband problems but i have some guesses for that. It idled pretty well, albeit a little high around 1500rpm. Then i shut it down and checked for leaks, tightened a couple fittings, and started it again. This time, it had a very bad surge. The rpms would go up, then something that sounded like an intake backfire happenned and the rpms went down and the whole process started over again. Any ideas?

This is what happens when you dont change one thing at a time, then when you go to start your car you have to troubleshoot everything.
If this is the first time you are using the 460's then I bet it has to do with your VE Table, and WarmUp Enrichments. You said yourself your wideband isnt working, I bet its running crazy rich.

yeah, i shouldve started it up once before putting the new injectors in. I guess i just didnt think about it. The S1 came before the 460's because the guy that i bought the 460's was a tool. Waiting for the 460's before starting the install really wasnt an option since it has taken me 4 weekends total to get from the first disassembly to the first startup and i really want to be ready for scca.
But yeah, the wideband will help me out, i should be able to get it going this weekend and see what is going on. Im still running the stock diyautotune mspnp ve table. From what ive heard, that is a little rich in idle for 460's.

Mine does that when i first fire it up it goes to 2000rpm-1000rpm for about 30seconds then it idles fine after but the idle is at 1200rpm, to high, and i dont know how to tune **** lol. Would that be that my VE fuel tables are to high?
