Begi Alpha Omega Bow to Me Peasant
I've seen two mentions of this thing recently.
Is it awesome? Will it be plagued by none of the things that plague Begi kits? Cure IBS? Massage my prostate? Make more power than anything before it?
Oh damn. Sure is cloak 'n' dagger. Maybe they're prepping to compete with the TSE kit?

Ordered the new Begi Alpha Omega turbo kit (Isn’t official released yet). As you can notice above I did used MAP/speed density for primary Ignition Load, AFR table load and EAE curve load for my future turbo. Also the AFR map is suited for running in boost. Still have to wait about 8 weeks for the kit.
Think I only need to use table switch (100kPa) + Ve3 map in TunerStudio to make it work.
Received a mail from Stephanie (Begi):
“I should have more dyno sheets next week, but the one dyno run we have done has been impressive. The 2002 (1.8) ran 196 whp at 6.4 psi. Most of the time that power level requires 8-9 psi. Hers is a photo of the system, but we are not releasing it to the general public though, so please don’t share it. The cost should be the same as the current systems. Hope that helps!”.

Do you have a link to where that is from? I have absolutely no clue what they are talking about ECU wise, but I do know that BEGI is working on a new manifold to replace their old cast one. The few prototypes that I saw looked very nice. The details that I think I can give out are top mount manifold, AC/PS compatible, external wastegate, Garrett turbo.

It's from CR. ECU doesn't have anything to do with it, i just didn't copy paste as selectively as i should have. He's using a Megasquirt i think. ITBs with some sort of plenum.

If it is what I saw then I could easily see him having a stainless steal prototype easily within 8 weeks. I am doubtful that they will have the cast version of it done in 8 weeks.

They could name it the Big Mac ECU and McDonalds could not sue them under their trademark.
In fact, many companies own a trademark for "Big Mac" from a hard hat company to J.C. Penney.
Fun Facts:
™ actually means that you intend to trademark a word/logo, but are too lazy to actually pay and do it.
℠ is a service mark. If BEGi had a tuning servicing called ECU Wizardy, they could use the ℠ mark on it so FM couldn't also offer a service called "ECU Wizardy".
