who's running 3.3.1 on a mspnp2
Alright so I'm running 3.3.1 on my mspnp2 with the megasquirt module firmware as the mspnp2 specific firmware didn't work at all. It would say something like invalid injector driver settings.
And the cl idle settings are way different from 3.2.1, I almost feel as if I have less control with the pid settings. If I use the pwm setting it is ether idling at 1300 rpm with the valve at "step" 84 then it just goes to 54 which is about 900 rpm, but the closed loop tries to match my rpm target but does so by switching from step 84 to 54 back and fourth rapidly to compensate for rpm droop and that just gives me a little bit of oscillation, just enough for it to be annoying.
If I set it up using the stepper valve setting it does reach my target fairly smoothly but it only moves the valve from full open to full closed. So when I start up it starts at about 3300 rpm then settles to 900 rpm. And there is no way for it to limit it to 1300 rpm to 900. And there is that idle gain slider, and that doesn't do anything at all.
It is really pissing me off, Im kinda thinking about going back to the old firmware, but I don't know.
