Default Quick Question in regards to base timing.

I'm looking to get all my ducks in a row tonight since I'll be installing my ms2pnp tomorrow after work on my 91.

Here's my question

All the information I've seen in the guides and videos and what not for setting base timing as been based off the previous versions of ts or even mega tune. When using the up to date ts do I still change the "Use Table" settings to -10* once I set the "Fixed Timing" to 10*?

Before the noob bashing begins I tried searching but all I can find is the older versions and just want to make sure before I blow my car up

any info would be great thank you!!

TS version doesn't really make a difference, use table after you set 10 btdc

Yeah I know to use the table, do I set it to -10 with the table though? Or do I just set the 10 on fixed timing and then leave it 10 and use table.

Setting to 10 degrees fixes and holds the timing at 10 degrees.

Setting it to -10 degrees tells TS that you want to use the table.

1. RTFM.
2. It's pretty damn EZPZ if you look at the screen: you have a picker for use table or fixed, then a field to input the exact timing you want to set it to.

setting to -10 tells the MS to set the timing to -10°.

This is MS2 not MS1.

Everyone that suggested -10 should be banned, sixshooter...

Thank you, for clarifying.

If I was using a MS3 or even a 2 then I would know the interface was different. Megasquirt stuff is very arbitrary.
