Default MS3 Mini starting issue

Hi all,

If this isn't the right place for help with MSLabs from the community, please advise. Normally I don't like to post on forums asking questions that only benefit me and wont be useful for anyone else, but I've hit a wall. I've reached out to Reverent both here and through email multiple times over the last 10 days with no response.

Long story short- I purchased a turbo Miata (https://www.miataturbo.net/cars-sale...246000-100937/) from this forum to replace my '99 n/a which I then sold. I did a full suspension overhaul and general tune up to include an LSD, etc. The last thing I did was take out the Adaptronic and install an MSlabs MS3 Mini.

The car fired up correctly the first time for a few seconds then died out. I left the map as delivered and adjusted the timing to set at 10 per Rev's instructions and the car would crank but not start. I went through and adjusted the Req Fuel and dead time for the FF 550cc injectors I installed but still no luck. I've so far tried every combination of injector setting between what FF states and what came with the map, timing adjusted and not adjusted, etc. and can not get the car to start.

I've attached (or at least tried to attach) the most current map along with a log of cranking for 5 sec. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I'm new and willing to learn but don't want to start by blowing up my motor. Once I get it running I figure I can start tweaking.

Thank you!
James

Cranking log looks good to me.

Can you confirm you have fuel pressure?

Fuel load shows 100kpa throughout the start/crank. Could that be a false reading? Is there another way to confirm?

I just went out there and after some cranking/turning over for the first time in a week it started briefly then died. Now when I try to start it makes a click then what sounds like a starter whining and no turnover (which was the pattern after last time it started). I forgot to turn on logging during when it actually started but I've attached the log afterwards.

Two better, longer cranking logs. Crank #3 actually started briefly before making a weird noise and shutting off. Thanks!

Still having the same problem, can someone look over these? I figured it was due to the injector settings, but I was finally able to figure out how to input the injector settings and dead-time chart and it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference. It almost feels like its not getting much fuel for the short period of time it starts. It idles super low (like lugging something until stalling) then turns off.

Any help would be great, I haven't had much luck talking with Rev. He finally responded and recommended I put stock injectors back in and then never responded to my follow-up about how that's not realistic (don't have them, it's turbo, etc.)

1st log is normal crank with brief start up, 2nd log is cranking with me trying to give a little throttle.

Thanks!

UPDATE:
The fuel pump wasn't priming. vtbandit's thread https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...econds-101977/ worked like a charm, just needed to move the jumper.

Now it starts up pretty quickly, goes rich for a bit, then leans out and stalls. Any idea? I've attached new logs.
