VVT BP6D Longblock, clutch, 1.6 ignition parts
*Spare 01-05 longblock I've had for about 3 years. It came from a junkyard wreck, supposedly 75k miles. Very clean on outside, but not much else I can tell you. Complete oil pan to valve cover, VVT bits, intake manifold, throttle, and IAC. I put it on a pallet the day I got it, and it hasn't been touched since.
Looking for $800 as it sits, cash and carry from Suwanee, GA 30024. Short radius delivery negotiable. I would be willing to strip intake, throttle, valve cover, maybe even split head from block if there are takers for all.
Currently in storage on a pallet rack at work. I will try to get a photo next week.
*1.6 clutch set (pressure plate, disc, flywheel). It is an ebay special, I believe FX Stage 3, but they're basically all the same. Limited use, tons of life left. Will fit 90-05 so long as you use the included flywheel (or any aftermarket lightweight 1.6 flywheel). Was used on a ~200hp turbo 1.6, held fine, felt pretty good. Not terribly heavy, sharper engagement than stock but totally drivable in traffic. 1.6 clutch offers less rotating mass and lower MOI compared to 1.8 clutch.
This would be a great budget clutch for any naturally aspirated build for street or track. OK for light forced induction street car on a budget, probably not ok for forced induction on track. I pulled this off the turbo 1.6 and kept it for my Exocet, but I got sponsored an 8lb 1.8 Fidanza flywheel, so I won't be using it. The clutch runs $130 new on ebay, without flywheel. Great cheap setup for anyone who is broke and/or building a GRM $Challenge car.
$40
*1.6 Cam angle sensor / CAS. Clean, but miles unknown. Came off running engine.
$50
*1.6 Ignition coil pack. Came off same running engine as the CAS.
$20
Would prefer cash and carry, but willing to ship the smaller stuff at buyer's expense. Probably not interested in shipping the longblock. I will be at Road Atlanta 23-26 April and the ECTA Ohio Mile in Wilmington, OH 1-3 May for delivery to those venues. Open to full or partial trades for things that amuse me.
