If cash flows are a concern @Kraken I think I would focus on just top mount stuff that fits every miata combo that works on AC + Power steering or neither and can hit the largest spread of buyers. In a lot of ways, they are very similar and can both get you 300+hp, with the EFR generally being regarded as being better in regards of transient response (e.g. full boost, let of throttle, shift, back on throttle and the EFR will be back at full boost quicker) but the rest of your setup matters just as much. Both are good turbros though, and either one wouldn't be the "wrong" decision. Built bottom end and all the supporting mods are needed to really get the most out of either though in my opinion |
Bearing in mind a 6258 is nearly $1800 and the whole kit is $2250, not sure what to say, you can always start with this setup and upgrade after you build the engine

I've thought about making a large purchase from Kraken and becoming a US stocking vendor who won't LIE about availability (cough fab9) If there is large amounts of interest then I can make that happen. Hate to see this kit go away. Such amazing quality.

I've been trying to learn more about the other company (FMIC.EU)after looking at this thread. Do we think this is the same turbo as the GTX2860r gen2?
