Don't preach "patience" if the dude has been waiting since October. Get out of here with that noise. People are literally lined up to throw money his way and can't manage a simple email response of: "life happens/issues occurring, check back in a couple of weeks. I still want your business, I haven't forgotten about you... ect".
I hope the dwelling purchase goes well, but throw the customers a bone once in awhile. Its just common courtesy... I think

I kinda agree with you, mr mazda329, the wait time is super crazy. Originally I was quoted 2+ months (i guess emphasis on the "+"). The only other time I was able to get a response from sadfab was January 13th from an email I sent December 17th. I have since been emailing Sean for the past month and a half with no reply. I get life happens. I get if he is a one man show and there is a huge backlog. But if you can't get the orders out, stop putting people on a wait list. If you are not making the item anymore just advertise that the item will not be available for the foreseeable future.
As for me I will continue waiting patiently, cause frankly I don't care to much as my miata is just a hobby for me to continually tinker with. I will continue having money at the ready for when/if my order is made. I just think an update would be nice.

I build all of my parts in the US. It's not cheap and not fast. I did a very limited run to test waters, as I said before. You may have not made it, unfortunately. Again, the 1.6 was a fest run. I dont like to do big runs on parts if fitment is not 100. Everyone thinks they want to buy prototype parts, until they dont fit properly. Then they want me to refund the purchase.
I will get another batch going.
