Remanufactured 5spd Transmission - NA
Remanufactured/rebuilt 90-97 transmission - all wear items were replaced and the external casing was chemically cleaned and coated to prevent corrosion. The transmission hasn't been used or installed since the rebuild. This shifts better than new! I'll even include the rebuilt shift lever with the sale.
The following parts were replaced with new OEM parts:
-All Syncronizer rings
-All Syncronizer hub snap rings
-All seals and gaskets
-All internal snap rings and roll pins (safety wired)
-All shift rods
-All shift forks
-All shift rod ends
-Upper shift turret lever
-All internal shift mechanism springs
-All shifter bushings
-Lower shift boot
-Magnetic drain plug, washer, and fill plug
-Updated reverse switch
I'm asking $650 picked up (53182) or $750 shipped. I can deliver to the northern Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin areas. Please direct any questions to apex on you at gmail dot com or give me a call at 612-548-4445. Thanks for looking!

I didn't delete any posts so I am not sure.
This has stock gears, pretty much the only things that aren't new are the gears and the case. It will handle power essentially the same as a 150K transmission, the only difference is it has zero play in the shifting mechanism and the selective gear spacing is in spec so it goes where you tell it to every time. Because all of the tolerances are back within spec you are far less likely to miss a shift and damage anything internal as you may with an older transmission with some wear throughout the shifting mechanism. So to answer your questions yes this is essentially the same as you would buy from Mazda, at a fraction of the price. I wasn't fortunate enough to run one of these when I was putting down some power but it would have been nice to not miss shifts (I was pretty hard on the drive train I will admit). 2/3 and 4/5 are a PITA when you're using flatshift @ 20psi.
I would love to offer transmissions with built gear sets but there is really no market, nobody wants to spend $2-3K on a transmission.
