This is a direct replacement for the stock muffler. This system weighs only 9.5 lbs while the stock system is 24lbs. It makes use of mandrel bent 2.5 inch aluminized steel pipes and a magnaflow straight through style muffler. The muffler itself and the 3" tip are both stainless steel. I bought this system in the summer of 2014 and it has under 2000 miles. I garage my car and store it in the winter so there is no rust. It also wont rust because of the aluminized and stainless steel. Sounds great and is very easy to install. Its fairly loud at WOT but still sounds deep. And its pretty tame around town.
