MKTurbo Sale Thread

Sorry did not realize you were asking for a shipping cost. My best guess for shipping costs will be $100-150. The setup will ship in 3 or 4 boxes. I am having to get custom boxes made as parts are an odd size. What you will be charged is cost of boxes + packing materials + Fedex/UPS shipping costs. From the group buy the setups will be going all over the US, so by the end I should have better estimates of shipping costs.
Not sure if it's your bag, but I just remembered I'll be in Atlanta for drift events in May and again in August.

Otherwise I may be able to send it to Atlanta with some of my drift friends.

So all you people with 1.6l motors. My machinist might have messed up and made a few 1.6l flanges. So it is very possible that I end up making a 1.6l setup in the future. Won't be until after all the setups for the group buy has shipped, but it has gone from won't ever happen to maybe if someone gives me cash.

I think I hooked up my EBC wrong and it was causing me to overboost even with it turned off. If 5th gear starting at 2500rpms the turbo hits 160kpa around 3000rpms. Boost then slowly kept rising until I hit around 195kpa. I rewired the wastegate to have no boost controller to do some more testing tonight. Hopefully it levels out at a much better kpa. I was hoping to get to a dyno tomorrow, but I am doubtful that happens as the high is supposed to be 37 degrees out and I hate the cold. Possibly this weekend if I can find an open shop.

Just get me a kit Im already wired up with EBC and ready to port the turbo and pull the plug. Ill post results and I live 30 min from the same dyno BEGi uses. I would gladly do a run off of just wastegate no port. wastegate with port and port plus ebc. Ill even post my spark tables for people to use with the setup.
EDIT: Modest spark tables

It will be 3-6 months before I start on the 1.6 setups. I have to get out all the current orders. Then finish my T2 setups for the 1.8. Once I get the 1.6 one made I will make sure I get in contact with you.

So with wastegate only I was hitting 200+kpa tonight. I think I have some more porting to do. Here is my log that I took tonight. The markings I made represent what gear I am starting to go WOT in. Here is the csv for the red line in the dyno below. Here is the csv for the blue line in the dyno below. I think both runs hit overboost around 205kpa so that is why I did not hit redline.
This was my first time using Virtual Dyno. So I am hoping I got all the settings correct. If the numbers are correct I am very happy with the results. Well at least I will be once I fix the boost creep issue and get on a real dyno.

Lars, whatever you're using for image hosting isn't letting the forum snag the pictures and re-host them. That BLOWS, because many of us browse from work and hosted images dont' show up. Luckily I glanced at the screenshots last night so I remmeber what they looked like.
Yes, and what's even cooler is this was done on a peasant bp05 head, so your 6d should net even better results.

When I bought the car it had a blown HG from over heating. I pulled off the head, checked flatness with a HF level and then threw on a new HG and bolted the head right back down. No leak down or compression tests were ever done. So I have zero clue on the overall health of the motor. I just know that it feels great in boost. I am very interested to see how it does on 99/00 heads and with VVT. We should know in a bit as I have setups going to a wide spectrum of miata motors.
