When anyone asks me where to tap the oil pan, I always point to the FM Turbo install directions, section 4. FM has written the best directions on where and how to do it. Better then I ever could so I don't even try to better.

He is the second guy to have any sort of an issue. The first had something go through and mess up the compressor wheel, he swapped on a new garrett wheel and was good to go. This is the first time I have seen one of the turbo's die completely.

Sadly went out on my way to my 2nd track day -- was trying to catch up to some motorcycles and then boom - no boost - must be boost leak right? Went around rechecked every single clamp and coupler - still not resolved...
Took the car out the next night and started driving it around with it making no boost - I floored it and it started boosting for about 2 seconds, Caught me by surprise - all i could see was a cloud of smoke covering the silver NB miata behind me
I had a filter on it so I'm pretty certain something didn't make its way in
I have a lot of cleaning to do now in prep for the replacement turbo...
