Beautiful flanges, Lars. I received your care package yesterday. Thank you. I'll make sure they are shared wisely. BTW, my daughter noticed some of the rubber dongs and butt plugs had a light coating of cosmoline on them and others did not. Were some of them cleaned up and others not, or is that something the manufacturer puts on them to preserve them for shipping? I certainly hope they weren't used previously.

Yeah you will most likely get the first one since you are shaping up to be my local 1.6 test car.
Flange #7 if yours.

That is how the machinist cut them. I honestly don't have a good explanation why.
All the people who guessed 1.6 flanges are correct. I had 2 finished for now. One to build the first manifold with, and 1 to use on a local test car.

First manifold is mocked up. Cutting the weld el's takes forever. So it will be a few days until I get them all mocked up to this point. Once I have a few pre-cut I will start welding them together.

I use the built in clamps on the saw to hold it while they are being cut. Once I get another manifold worth cut I can get to welding while I am cutting. The first pieces are being used as measurements for all the following ones. So while it takes a while to make all the cuts, I usually am not sitting around doing nothing while they are going on.

So I know just about zero about saw blades. I know you have to know the length and the number of saw teeth per inch. So far I have tried 2 different blades from HF and neither make a difference in the amount of time it takes. I also have some blades off eBay and they seem to be a bit better then the HF ones. One of these days I will figure out how to order blades from Enco or something. I have in the past tried setting it so the saw goes faster, it ended up breaking a blade by the third cut. So I put the saw back on its slowest speed.

HF consumables suck...
Edit: Well hell, Amazon Supply carries Lenox, Starret & Simmons in the Prime offering...

I'm definitely interested in a complete 1.6 kit if you do decide to offer any. I already have a turbo, but I guess since it's a chinacharger having a spare wouldn't be such a terrible idea. Assuming my motor checks out and I feel it's healthy enough I'll still be interested. Any idea on a lead time for those?
Any chance of getting an EGT bung option for the manifold?
