It has been a while since any posts in here. So time for a few updates and current BF pricing.
I want to be the first to announce a Garrett G25-550/G25-650 turbo setup for the NA/NB Miata platform. Down pipe is super tight in places and a pita to get in and out. But it does fit. Bolts up to my standard MKTurbo 3" exhaust.
Secondly I am now offering Garrett turbo upgrades for my t3 setups. I can supply from GT2860R to the new Gen2 GTX28xx series turbos as a direct drop in replacement. Cost varies based on turbo size.
I am now also offering a Turbosmart BOV as an upgrade instead of the budget BOV I have been using for years.
I am doing standard BF pricing this year.
$100 off DIY setups
$150 off IC setups
$250 off Complete setups
So have plans for the EFR kit been nixed in favor of the G25?
No. Just have not any spare cycles to finishing down pipes and getting the coolant lines figured out. As soon as I get ahead and think I have some time to work on it, parts move out the door and I have to get back to building those.
IT has been a year. So time for the Black Friday sale. This will be the last sale before I raise prices on January 1. I had kept my prices the same for as long as I could during Covid. Unfortunately everything has gone up for me, so I will have to raise prices a bit to offset it all.
This year for the sale.
DIY setups are $1776 shipped and come with the oil line setup for free, a $125 savings.
IC setups are $2350 shipped and come with the oil line setup and intake setup for free, a $200 savings.
Complete setups are $3750 shipped, a $290-$340 savings
Has anyone heard from @shuiend (Lars) recently? I've messaged him several times in the last month about some intercooler piping and wastegate actuator fitment issues, but have yet to hear from him.

I talk with him a regular basis. I know he's dealing with some health issues and stuff but I will text him and let him know you're trying to get ahold of him. What kind of fitment issues are you having? Maybe I can help.

Thanks for letting me know. I hope he gets well soon.
Here is a 5min video I had sent to Lars explaining my issues. Maybe you or someone else on here can point me in the right direction. Thanks for offering to help.
I'm pretty sure you need to clock the compressor housing. That's probably throwing some things off for you. Mine is facing down at around the 7 o clock position. But I'm 1.6 NA chassis and have my own piping kit, just using the TB inlet pipe that Lars makes since I swapped to a 99 engine

It looks like I may have to modify/cut the intercooler piping and couplers on the hot side to make it all fit. Its not what I was sold, but I might actually prefer the outcome. Thanks for the pic.

I only run the MKTurbo manifold, turbo, downpipe/exhaust, and TB inlet pipe. The rest of my setup is how I did it on my own. The way I did it fit near the AC compressor without issue.
As for how the kits normally go together I am not 100 percent certain. But it looks like you're supposed to route it over the PS pump and then down in front of the compressor and around to the intercooler.
My setup has a downside though. I'm using 4 couplers on the hot side piping to make it work. I've only had one slip off once but I hadn't checked the clamp tightness in a while. Otherwise it's been fine. The additional couplers and clamps means there's more area for possible leaks.
If Lars schedule and mine ever sync up I was going to ask him if he can make me one pipe that is short and mimics what I'm running now.
It is another year and time for my yearly Black Friday sale.
