Massive Part out: Turbo 97, 90 parts car. VVT block. Profit from my grief!
I hit a median in my Turbo DD, the intercooler, radiator, and oil cooler got boned, and the airbag deployed. My wife went to the hospital, and I sat to rethink a great deal of things in my life. To make a long story short, I need out of miatas and am liquidating everything I have, including my turbo car, all my parts, and a 1990 parts car. 160,000 miles on 97, unknown on parts car.
If anyone would like to try and take either car as a semi complete or just the rolling shell, talk with me. They have to go eventually and are in good enough shape. I'm unsure if the 97 had its front subframe tweaked, but none of the suspension components look bent from what I can tell. The 90 is very straight.
Everything is in Pensacola FL, willing to ship at buyers expense. All prices are OBO.
Stewart development Bilsteins on QA1 450/300, ebay sleeves, and DIY FCM style NB mounts: $625
Beat rush rear differential brace: $100
FM cast turbo manifold with heatshield $150
Garrett 2554 turbo: 250
Harddog single diagonal roll bar: 250
1.8 torsen differential complete with axles:
Out of 97: 500
Out of parts car (swapped from 1.8): 450
5 speeds:
97 shifts great, no grinds: 200
parts car: 150
Engine blocks:
VVT with 25K miles. Un-opened: 800
1.8: 300
1.6: 150
LINK ECU, ran my daily very nicely:
$250
Moss motors dual low profile headlights, very very nice, only a couple thousand miles: $400
Absurdflow FM replacement manifold ceramic coated black by very reputable shop: $540
BEGI SS SGDP: 150
Nissan flange GT2560 BB turbo: 350
That's most of the exciting stuff. Recall I have 2 whole cars here. So ask if you need stock/boring parts. Request any pics you want. Both cars have nice interiors except for the deployed airbags in the 97.
If you have any trouble with PM's, you can email: john_c_begley@hotmail.com
thanks for looking.
UPDATE:
Parts to add:
FM turbo dual exhaust: 250
97 Rear subframe brace: 40
FM downpipe (not stainless, old bellmouth style): 75
Set of 3 supertech pistons, 83.5 bore, 9.5:1 compression (3rd one lost in detonation, these three were checked by machinist and verified in good shape): 120 (buy a single new one for 70-80 and you have a set of forged pistons for ~200!!!!!)
Also, I have a Plenum'd (boost friendly) ITB intake that is at my machinist being made for the VVT engine. This wreck happened but I am going to have him go ahead and finish it and sell it as a complete manifold. Since it's not done I'm not gonna get too serious on a price yet. Talk to me if you're interested.

Sorry to hear about the accident and I hope everyone is ok. Life is rather delicate. My wife just missed disaster in a house fire 18 months ago so I know what its like to rethink things and life and such. Anyhow, noob here and cant PM so shoot me an email at cojimarplumbing at gmail dot com. Interested in 90 car dash and VVT if shipping is doable. Let me know, thanks

How much for the turbo manifold and the roll bar shipped to 60561? Also is the hardroll built for hardtops? Also may want the turbo.

Gentlemen:
The response to this has been way more overwhelming (in a good way) than I anticipated and I am struggling to keep up with parts pic requests and shipping quotes. I have been out removing stuff on the wreck today, and I have a notebook filled with people asking about or calling dibs on things.
I'm going to wrench till the sun goes down, then I will come in and get on responding to all your posts, PM's, and E-mails. I hope you all find this acceptable. Also, thanks so much for all the love and support. Many of you have expressed condolences in your emails, and I really appreciate it.
Me and the wife are doing fine, she just got bruised up. I'm buying a grown up vehicle that I won't be tempted to modify, and focusing on what's really important: my career............................................ .................................................. .................................................. ........................................ and the 350whp FB rx-7 I haven't touched in a couple years...

I have a guy that has possible dibs on this right now, waiting to see what he does. You are 2nd in line if he backs out.
Have a local asking about the roll bar. If he wants it he gets it because that would be a biotch to ship. The FM mani is probably gone, but the gangster **** absurdflow remains.
Well I DO have a spare MS3X that was destined for the miata sitting around, and I sold the Haltech in the 7...
BTW, enjoy some carnage... it actually doesn't look all that bad.

So I expect you to have the FB running MS3x by the mitty next year. I want to see it.
