JVC KD-S680 CD Receiver / 180W / CD-RW
JVC KD-S680 CD Receiver in excellent used condition. My gf removed it from her '01 Prelude before we sold it. Has been sitting in the box since. Comes with everything you see pictured (deck, faceplate, case, remote, etc).
$60 Shipped
Product details from Crutchfield
Multi-function adjustments are just a twist-of-the-wrist away with the JVC KD-S680. A rotary encoder and a backlit multicolor display make this CD receiver easy to fine-tune. And your backseat passengers can run the show with the included wireless remote. Record CDs at home? The KD-S680 will play CD-Rs and CD-RWs.
Shape your sound the way you want it with features like Advanced Sound Control Memory (allows you to store three tone preset combinations) and the loudness button. Connect an external amp to the set of preamp outputs for more clarity and impact. Direct Track Access lets you choose any of the first twelve tracks of a CD with one button press. The attenuator button instantly lowers the volume so you can pay a toll or take a cell phone call.

Level Meter: There is a level meter in the left part of the display window. The level meter may be set to Audio 1, Audio 2, or Off. In Audio 1 mode, the meter gives a graphic representation of the audio signal level. In Audio 2 mode, the meter alternates between Audio 1 mode and illumination display. While making volume, balance and fader adjustments, the meter gives a graphic representation of the setting.
Advanced Sound Control Memory (SCM): This unit has three preset tone control and loudness setting combinations that you may select. You may link a different sound mode to each source, or you may use the same mode for all sources. Each of the sound modes may be adjusted to your preference and stored in memory. The preset Sound Control Memory modes are:
•Beat: Bass = +2, Treble = 0, Loudness = On
•Soft: Bass = +1, Treble = -3, Loudness = Off
•Pop: Bass = +4, Treble = +1, Loudness = Off
One Touch Operation: Pressing a source button (CD/AM/FM) turns the unit on and selects the source.
Tuner: This model is equipped with JVC's proprietary HS-II tuner.
Standard and European Tuning Spacing: The tuner allows you to select U.S. standard or European tuning spacing. This feature is not discussed in the manual, but it is easily accessible. To switch the tuning spacing, you simply press and hold the FM button and preset #5 button simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.
Direct Track Access: You can directly access CD tracks 1-12 by pressing the station preset buttons. If a preset button is pressed for less than 1 second, the track corresponding to the number on the preset button is selected. When a preset button is pressed for more than 1 second, the track corresponding to the number above the preset button is accessed; this method is used to access tracks 7-12.
Disc Eject Prohibit: This feature keeps the disc from ejecting even if the eject button is pushed. The disc eject prohibit feature is engaged/disengaged by pressing the CD and eject buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
