Just so your aware, the lights probably have $7-800 worth of parts in them (two full retrofits worth), then there is labor and the headlights themselves on top of that. They are expensive, but not completely unreasonable. I'm sure he payed at least that if not more to get them from Lightwerkz, and I've heard that they do very good work.
TL;DR: If you can afford these lights, you can't beat the performance.

^raw parts including 70 dollar (each) bulbs is around 1400, I paid 1300 in labor, plus the 550 dollar brand new oem headlights.
But yes, it is hard to swallow. I've seriously dreamed of putting these headlights on my car, just to experience them once. I wanted the best headlights possible, and those are it. Thankfully the miata is in storage now, and 4 hours away, so the temptation is less!
Lightwerkz just finished another quad retrofit, similar light output (my bulbs and one set of projectors is a little better)

I want the hardtop. How about $900 since I have a LONG roadtrip to get it?
#39
I understand how long the trip is (I have driven a few times back and forth between bryce and sacramento, an additional 3 hours) but I really don't want to sell for under 1000.
Someone almost bought it last week, but flaked out at 1100.
Also, too bad I left the hardtop in sacramento, otherwise, it would be 25 minutes away, I'm in PC now.
