Hoosier R3S04s... NEW! 205/55/14
FS:
4 205/55ZR14 R3S04
Hoosier R3S04 Sports Car D.O.T. competition radial.
Hoosiers makes some of the best, if not THE best tires for circuit/roadrace conditions.
These tires are BRAND NEW, 100% never mounted and stored in a heated basement.
325 Firm. I'll get this or I will use these next season.
If you wanted to get the equivilant tire now, the slightly newer spec R3S05... they are on sale for 122.xx. Close to 500 bucks for similar tires.
In Chicago.. will ship at buyer's exact expense.

Can try, never shipped tires before. Think you'd be up for them being shipped as I recieved them? 2x taped/strapped together and labeled?
Although, now that i think of it... hoosier shipped in boxes... I'll see what I can do. The other tires I order always come strapped though.

I've had very good experiences shipping wheels and tires with DHL. The last set of rims i bought were heavy 17" AMG wheels with tires and in individual boxes. DHL picked up the 4 packages from the seller's door in Chicago and delivered them to mine in Atlanta for $80 in 3 days. They came a day or two quicker than their shipping estimator claimed it would take. I had to set up a shipping account, and DHL billed the charges to my credit card at the end of the month. This was about a year ago, so prices may be a little different now.
I have purchased a few sets of tires (no wheels) from TireRack and they come as 2 tires taped together with packing tape with a label taped to the tread of one of the tires (no boxes).

braineack:
So far my aproximate quote for shipping is like 36 bucks + 18 for boxes... why are silly 22x22x22 boxes so darn expensive .
I'll try to take two tires over tomorrow and get a confirmation.

And... now DHL is 22.xx... sigh.
I bet I could ship them out for 60 total, including insurance/boxes/shipping, probably somewhat over with tax and stuff... but whatever.
I'll ship for that.
If we use paypal though I'd ask for covering of their nominal fees.
