GT2871 FS $725
I have a Garrett GT2871 that is several years old, but I was told has zero miles on it. It was test fitted on a Protege then removed and put on a shelf. It has zero shaft play and the blades look amazing. The hot side housing does have some surface rust. When I got it the waste gate was welded shut, after cleaning the housing I noticed it was not welded well. After a little grinder action it went back to swinging open perfectly. It will need a internal wastegate actuator and arm if you want to run internal gate, or welded again if you want to run an external gate. It has a t2 flange. It is larger then what I want to run or else I would keep it and use it myself.
Measurements are not exact, it was hard holding a camera, the caliper, turbo, and taking the picture. They are about a mm off.
Official Garrett CHRA tag
Oil Inlet
Wastegate after I got rid of the welds.
I would like $725 shipped to the continental 48 states or best offer.

Trade for a professionally rebuilt and begi ported Garrett 2560? Already drilled for 10mm inconel as well. Is it safe to assume the wastegate flapper on yours seals and works well?

I am assuming that the wastegate flapper still seals, but I don't have a real way to test. I honestly might shoot Garrett and email asking how to replace it to be on the safe side. If there was a built motor in the car this would be going in I would have no problem using it myself as is.

Bump. I am open to reasonable offers. I am also looking for the following items for trading a Begi coolant reroute spacer, forged rods, rx8 injectors, 12x12 intercooler, and a ms3x. Or if you have other interesting miata go fast bits feel free to offer them up, the worst I can say is no.

It is still around, sitting on a shelf waiting for my motor to get back from the machine shop. I picked up this turbo thinking it was a disco-potato, then found out it was a 2871, and I rather have my cash back, then have a spare just sitting here.
