Default FS Megasquirt pnp for 1.6

Have for sale a megasquirt pnp for a 1.6. It was originally a v1 but has the upgraded v2 daughter board and vtps. Little bit of a backstory of it..... I originally purchased it as a basketcase, it wouldnt connect to the laptop, wouldnt start among other issues. After rewiring a few things that were wired wrong by the original person who did the v2 upgrade (huge thanks to diyautotune helping me diagnose alot of it) the ecu will now connect to a computer and communicates with the car. I tried to get the car running on it but since it is a "modded" ecu regular base maps do not work and since im not a tuner i was unable to get it to work. I had every intention of bringing it somewhere to get tuned but i have since decided to doing a motor swap in which this will be uneeded. So since i cant prove 100% that this thing is ready to go is why my price is cheaper. I can also forward emails that i have had with diyautotune to the purchaser if any issues arise that might have been answered

Comes with the ecu and both the special serial cord for the v1 box and the center plug for extra inputs

Im asking $300 obo plus shipping
Located in Northwest Iowa

If you have any questions I will be gladly answer them.

So this is unusable without having a tuner get their hands on it? Can't even load a base map?

How is a tuner going to be able to have any more success than a home user looking to tweak their own base map?

Have you tried to load up MS2 base maps? I remember reading something along those lines when I was browsing msexta.

Was told by diyautotune that base maps won't work since it's not a standard ms1 or ms2 and now a "custom" computer. I assume it's something with the firmware if I remember right
