Default FS: Built 1999 BP4W Engine, w/ Long Rods, Forged Internals, 1500 Miles [CA]

Everything has sold, thanks everyone!

I've recently decided to take a different direction with my Miata, and as such am now putting up my new engine for sale in the SF Bay Area, California.

Engine was built with lots of forced induction in mind. The long rods are Carrillo A-Rods out of a Honda, mated with custom lightweight asymmetric pistons from JE Pistons. Compression Ratio is at ~8.26:1. Everything in the engine is new, and ARP inconel rods are holding everything together. The head was professionally machined and assembled with all new components.

Engine has ~1500 miles on it. Break in was done using Break-in oil with Zinc additives. Oil Changed at 50, 100, 500 and 1000 miles. Now running full synthetic with no issues at all. Idles and revs extremely smooth. Emissions were basically non-existent when smogged.

If there's interest, I'll also throw in the transmission along with a basically new (also 1500 mile) FM Happy Meal level 2 with the 13.45lb Lightened Flywheel and the 5 speed trans. Shifting is pretty notchy on the 5 speed, but It's been that was since I've owned the car, so I have no way of knowing if the synchros are going, or if its just how it is.

The engine and transmission are still in the car so it can be viewed running before pulling it out.

If someone's lazy and doesn't want to swap the engine out, I'll entertain the idea of selling the Miata with the engine.

Car has genuine OEM Mazdaspeed Headlights and Front Bumper (w/ Lip) and rear spoiler. Paint was already bad (previous owner shot up one side), so they were quickly painted to match the car to make it look acceptable, at least from 50ft. Car has some garbage Rota 15x6.5s on it, lowered about an inch on Tein StreetFlex Coilovers. Interior is fair, with the drivers side seat tearing in the back and the seat. The top is new and a bit tight when closing, but is otherwise great. Chassis has 97k miles, and is very straight, with only a ding or scrape here or there. With some minor dent/scrape repair and a new paintjob, It would actually be pretty nice.

I'm looking to get ~$3500 for the engine to recoup some of my losses. $4000 for the engine/transmission/FM Happy Meal

I also have an incredibly well sorted MP62 Supercharger Kit with FMIC, Headers, and a 99-00 MS3-Pro PnP (MSPro on WestfieldMX5's Board) that I'd sell separately or together with the engine/transmission.

If you're interested in the whole car, I'd entertain selling it for $7000, though i'd prefer to sell the engine/transmission separately, as I'm rather fond of the Mazdaspeed Tupperware parts.
