the CARB EO says "two supplementary fuel injectors" and that "The supplementary fuel injectors are placed in an air tube just prior to the throttle body"

This kit shows 4 extra injectors in the manifold after the throttle body.

Do you have the original configuration inter cooler piping with the auxiliary injectors? This kit doesn't match the EO description and CA Smog tech SHOULD fail it because of this if they are doing their job right.

This is the kit as was provided from BEGI/FM. In it's current configuration it is CARB legal.

It has been installed on at 99 miata and passed California SMOG tests numerous times, including STAR.

Are you interested in purchasing it or just clogging my for sale thread?

I was curious on injector placement and why it doesn't match the EO document, and making potential California buyers aware of the risks.

The kit that was tested had the 2 injectors described, shortly thereafter the kit was revised to use 4 injectors as shown above. I am told that the kit vendor is allowed to make small ongoing production changes to the kit without having to redo the EO so long as they don't affect the emissions, and I think this fell under that category.

FWIW, I made 220 rwhp on a similar kit that I owned about 15 years ago, so if you want details on the good and bad things about tuning the piggyback you can PM me.
