Fatcat Double-Adjustable Coilovers

Fatcat Double-Adjustable Coilovers
I'm selling the shock/spring setup (and spares) off my SSM car. They're custom-valved external canister double adjustable shocks that started life as Bilsteins before Shaikh (FatCat Motorsports) extensively modified them. They have tender springs, modified shock hats that are cut away on one side for a little more tire clearance, and are currently mounted with 800 front springs and 550 rear springs. I have 700 front springs and 450 rear springs as well as some different bumpstop options that I can include if the buyer wants them as well. I'm asking $2500 for the whole setup including spares. These were made for an NA car but should fit an NB car just fine.

I have miscellaneous other suspension stuff available for sale as well including a full set of Delrin'd control arms and a Racing Beat front bar. You can see the full list at http://www.akilla.net/pics/miata/par...st20141025.gif if you're interested.

Yeah, what Greasemonkey said. The valving is targeted at an autocross car, which is tailored toward low speed compression and rebound with little high speed compression. The clicks make a huge difference, and I've never gone anywhere near either end of any of the ranges, so I would be surprised if you couldn't find a valving you were happy with, but if you want a cozy Lincoln-style daily driver, these aren't the coilovers for you, but you probably know that. I liked it on the street running the same settings as I ran in autocross, but I'm a little more tolerant than most.

I picked these up. I had been fighting with myself for quite awhile. I've never been truly happy with my current setup for autox and was going to begin saving in a large fund for another double adjustable coilover setup. I had forgotten about these for a bit and then it clicked in my mind that I NEEDED these.
The work had already been done by Shaikh and Codingparadox on making it an autox specific setup with the right valving for low speed compression and rebound making it a no brainer for me. I plan on some day moving toward SSM, but for now I'm going to focus on STR and being less of a terrible driver.
I'm now much more excited for 2015 and hoping I can worry less about my current suspension and run these along with all the other major changes to the car this year.
Thanks again David!
