Fat Cat Motorsports (FCM) revalved bilsteins with 500/350 coilovers and NB tophats
This setup is coming off my 2004 MSM. They're revalved by FatCat Motorsports, and have eibach 500 lb front springs and QA1 350lb rear springs.
I have personally put about 5000 miles on this setup (driving from Los Angeles to Portland, round-tripping Monterey for Miatas at MRLS, two track days, and some driving around town). I do not know how many miles were on the suspension before I bought the car, however, the PO said there were about 3000 miles on the build, so I'd say 10k miles is a pretty safe estimate.
They come with NB tophats and are ready for installation. Drop your old stuff out, drop these in, and away you go.
I LOVED this suspension. I think it's the perfect DD with occasional track use setup. Fantastic ride and great body control. However, my car has a full interior, A/C, P/S, a soft top, AND a hardtop... so basically it's as heavy as an NB can get. And with that much weight, on the track, it was too soft. I think on a lighter car it'd be enough for track work, and on a fully-dressed car like mine it's fantastic for performance driving and some track work. Also, I discovered that I was running the stock MSM front sway with no rear bar, so some stiffer sways would probably have helped.
But no matter -- I ordered Xidas, so these have to go.
Looking for $1200 plus actual shipping including tophats. If you'd like to make an offer go ahead, but give me a reason why I should take less, and give me an actual offer. Messages asking "What's the lowest you'll go?" will be ignored.
Thanks for looking!

Seriously. I didn't list them sooner because I was hoping to buy another Miata and put these on it. But I really have no business putting suspension like this on a second miata. If I do coils on a second Miata it'll be a cheap setup.

This is basically (slightly stiffer springs...very slight) the exact same setup I have on my car. You will love them.
My car is several hundred lbs lighter than Ed's @2200 and they are perfect.
Help Ed's car ADD, support the cause!

Thanks for the comments gents.
I have had someone PM me a question I don't know the answer to for sure. Will these bolt onto an NA? I'm thinking so, might require a height adjustment but it should bolt on and go otherwise right?

I'm fairly certain those are the shock bodies for an NA.
B46 is part of the code for the NA shocks.
As well as the Eunos Roadster.
And, the shock shafts have the extended reach nuts of the top hats to fit the shorter NA shafts.

These were originally built for this MSM, but the PO put a higher emphasis on comfort than I currently do
Any comments about pricing? I was digging around on FCM's website after posting these and it looks like new ones start at just over $1900 not sure if that includes tophats either, and that doesn't include their consulting time..... and you've got to wait a LONG time to get them.
if you've got a light car with some tracking, or want one of the best dual duty setups out there... buy dees.

I saw a set almost identical that sold for $900, but that was in 2011...much longer wait now. I'd say you're pretty close on price.
