(Sold) EOI: MegaSquirt!
Would anyone be interested in buying my completed MegaSquirt?
EDIT: I guess I should mention that the PCB is a version 3 one, running MSnS-extra. It comes in a black case.
As some of you know I'm saving up at the moment to purchase an MX-5 at Christmas time, so the extra cash would be really handy. Additionally, I don't have much motivation for this project since I don't have a car to install it in yet!
You would get the MegaSquirt unit itself, plus the MX-5 specific modifications to make the tach signal and ignitors work. I'd also give you my DB9 cable to connect it to your laptop, and the connector for the engine side of the MegaSquirt so you can build a 'plug and play' harness.
If someone is really keen I could build a 'plug and play' harness too, but ideally they'd need to be fairly local so I can do testing (or be comfortable making changes if I've built the cable incorrectly).
The MegaSquirt would suit any stock NA or an NB with the NA CAS fitted.
I've spent about AU$360 (~US$273) on the MegaSquirt parts and shipping (not including the engine simulator) but I've put in a fair few hours of work too. I'd consider selling it for AU$410 (~US$310).
I kinda want to hang on to the engine simulator (Stim) since I'm planning on building another MegaSquirt once I get the car, but I'd be prepared to part with it for the right price.
Cheers,
Tim

I am considering it but I figure shipping for Aussieland will cost a fortune? It comes with the wireing harness too?

Nah I haven't done any work on the harness so that would be extra. Maybe you're right about the shipping, I can check it out if you want though.

Yeah, I've still got it, but I've lost motivation to finish it. I can sell it cheaper if you want, but I've only completed up to stage 62 in the build manual. It all checks out AOK with the stim though.
